Baby Afghans To Knit And Crochet
I'd like to knit a baby afghan with a pink border and green interior?

I have a pattern for a basket weave baby afghan with a knit border around the edge. Here's the link to the pattern for more details

but instead of one solid color, I'd like the interior green and the border pink but I'm not sure how to accomplish two different colors on the same line (I'm still a beginner). Does anyone have a link to maybe and instructional video or something? I tend to be better seeing it done than reading it and hoping I'm doing it right is all.

You would start with the Pink for the first 10 rows.
On row 11, knit 10 with the pink and then change the color, do the pattern across to the last 10 stitches, change back to pink to knit those stitches.

You would then continue with the pattern just doing the pink on either end. Note that you will be knitting from one green skein and two pink skeins. Depending on how big a skein of pink you have, I would knit from both ends, the outside and the middle.

Your last 10 rows and cast off should be done in the pink the same as the first 10 rows.

The only part you have to be careful with is making sure that when you change the colors each time, you bring the new yarn around the old yarn or you will have holes where you change colors. Here is a website showing how to switch between colors if you are unsure:
