what do i need for my baby's crib?
i was given a swinging crib and don't know what to buy for it!
i know i need a mattress and some fitted sheets but what else should i buy??
i was also given a wicker crib by my auntie, its like a moses basket but isn't as it can't be moved about (has no handles and is slightly bigger) this one will be going in my front room as its very pretty and painted white. this one has a mattress but it is very thin, should i buy a thicker one??
she also bought a bumper but it only fits round 3 of the cribs sides - i that ok?? and it came with two, what i could only describe as crib duvets?? is it ok to use these??
anything ideas on what else i need to buy for this one would also be helpful!!

All that you need is a firm mattress and tightly-fitting sheet. There should be nothing else in the crib. No blankets, bumpers, toys, or pillows, as they pose suffocation risks.
A baby doesn't weigh very much, so it's unlikely the thin mattress will bother him/her. If you do choose to buy a thicker one, make sure it fits properly with no gaps whatsoever and is very firm.
Do not use any bumpers or duvets/blankets.
